Welcome to Louisiana Tech Research Enterprise!
Louisiana Tech takes pride in its bright and committed researchers, interdisciplinary programs and environment, and unique culture of collaboration within and across the academic and research units. Those assets advance scholarship, grantsmanship, research centers and institutes, and partnerships in areas ranging from nanotechnology to cyber, national security, energy, and manufacturing. Our research and partnership initiatives also enable critical economic, societal, and environmental impacts on our region, the state, and the nation. Our focused efforts have led to the development and growth of a responsive and modern curriculum like cyber engineering, research apprenticeship programs like the Global Strike National Security Fellows program, transdisciplinary research units like the Institute for Micromanufacturing, and industry and translational research-focused centers like the Trenchless Technology Center and the Louisiana Tech Research Institute.
We have a dedicated institutional and strategic focus on transdisciplinary and interinstitutional partners. In addition, Louisiana Tech’s unique public-private, corporate, and research network partnerships have developed significant research and intellectual products, student experiences, and workforce and economic development in the region and beyond. We collectively and continually strive to cultivate core research strengths in cyber and national security, energy and manufacturing, health and human sciences, STEAM educational research, and other transdisciplinary initiatives.
We empower research scholarship and creativity through experiential programs to drive student engagement with discovery outcomes for our eager graduate and undergraduate students. Our agility and flexibility to execute unique contracts and implement sensitive projects through the university’s affiliated entity, Louisiana Tech Applied Research Corporation, provides a unique framework for collaborative growth. Our research and partnership efforts have led to rapid and sustained economic growth in the north-Louisiana with national scale impacts in recent years.
I invite you to partner with us to address the grand challenges of tomorrow through collaborative, innovative, and impactful pursuits to maximize success and sustainment. Louisiana Tech’s research and partnerships enterprise will be an asset in our collective journey. I look forward to working with you!
