Partnerships for Adaptation, Implementation, and Dissemination (PAID): Creating a Culture of Success for Women in Engineering and Science

Description :

The objective of the investigators of this research is to create an environment in the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University that promotes success for women in STEM fields. In order to create this environment, the investigators propose to establish the Office for Women in Science and Engineering, which would manage the implementation of professional development programs, leadership training, and mentoring. In addition to these features, efforts include providing career workshops, coaching programs, training modules and establishing and evaluating policies for life transitions with reference to meeting the needs of women. Policies and programs created through this office could potentially create an environment for success while promoting the retention of women in STEM fields.
