Description :

In an effort to increase collegiate enrollment in STEM courses, the researchers of this project seek to target high school students and teachers through the development of a STEM-Discovery program. This will be accomplished through the development of a pilot STEM-Discovery Design Camp and Design Competitions engaging high school teachers and students, teacher workshops designed for collecting teacher feedback, and further refinement of the project to include virtual learning modules. Interdisciplinary topics will be incorporated to reinforce student interest in STEM fields while improving communication skills, writing abilities, analytical skills and creativity.
