Description :  This Initiative contains four specific outreach programs, each linked and coordinated by a common website portal. The Initiative focuses primarily on technical assistance (70%) through our Regional Innovators Network, the Community Assistance Program, and the Business Resource Clearinghouse. The remaining focus (30%) is on applied research on developments and opportunities in surrounding regions and on disseminating information about economic efforts and economic development in general and throughout the region. The Initiative is housed in the Division of Business and Economic Research of the College of Administration and Business and is closely coordinated with the University’s other economic development entities and mission.
