Development and Exploration of Louisiana Sector Wood Processing Industry

Description :  

The Louisiana Forest Products Development Center (LFPDC) at the Louisiana Tech University School of Forestry serves northern Louisiana’s forest and forest products industry, as well as assists with the efforts of the LFPDC and the LSU AgCenter in Baton Rouge.  This project has extension/outreach goals of conducting the annual “Hardwood Log, Lumber and Tree Grading Workshop” and economic goals such as showing actual clear lumber yields are suitable for current industry practices.
