Data Mining Microarray Gene Expression for Physiological Discovery

Description :

This project will focus on developing enabling technologies for gene expression data analysis, in support of the mission of the Biocomputing core of Louisiana Biomedical Research Network as well as the scientific and economic development of Louisiana.  Gene array experiments are increasingly conducted, and automated discovery routines have not kept pace with this escalation.  This project will focus on research and development for efficient and robust algorithms for gene expression analysis including data preparation, dimension reduction, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised classification of functional interpretation of discrete and time series gene expression data.
