Entrepreneurship through Multidisciplinary Projects and Collaborative Teams
Description : This project will build on the existing foundation of Louisiana Tech University's Center for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology (CEnIT) through the implementation of the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program created by Purdue University. The goal of EMPaCT is to provide multidisciplinary teams of both engineering and business students with experiences in designing marketable products and to promote entrepreneurship in both colleges. Students participating in these projects will participate in the entire research, development, and marketing process. EMPaCT courses will provide both horizontal and vertical integration by including engineering, business and other students in the product design process.
