SDL: Spatial Data Laboratory

Description:  The Spatial Data Laboratory's primary purpose is to teach geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), aerial photogrammetry, and remote image interprestioio to forestry students and others majoring in the natural sciences. It houses the School of Forestry GIS lab, GPS equipment, and Remote Sensing software. Most of Louisiana Tech GIS operations are conducted in the SDC and Geography's GIS & Cartography lab. The SDC hosts a full range of GIS training options ranging from academic to continuing education courses offered in traditional and distance learning formats.
